🎄 The Bear Christmas Evening with Everybody Sings Bel Canto 🎶
Join us at The Bear for a heartwarming evening of festive cheer, live music, and community spirit!
On Saturday, 14th December at 5:00 PM, our restaurant will come alive with the beautiful harmonies of Everybody Sings Bel Canto, a talented choir of 10 singers who have graced the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe and will be performing at Highclere Castle — the iconic home of Downton Abbey — this December.
Enjoy the magic of Christmas with family and friends as the choir fills the room with classic carols and joyful tunes that capture the true spirit of the season.

All proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Now,
supporting our amazing General Manager, Chris, who
will be running the 2026 London Marathon in aid of
this incredible cause.

We’re DELIGHTED to announce that Open Bar is back this winter with The Elves and the Shoemaker
Come one, come all, grab a glass of mulled wine, mug of hot chocolate and a mince pie. Get together with friends and family and witness the magic of the Elves. Sing along, get involved and pull a cracker or two...the perfect treat this festive season.
Written in 1806 by the Brother’s Grimm the tale follows a failing shoemaker at Christmas time, and the mysterious occurrences that take place. In true Open Bar style, this show is family friendly, engaging and full of laughs. A heartwarming retelling of this classic story, featuring music, puppetry, plenty of audience interaction and, of course, barrels of Christmas cheer.
Tickets are very limited this year so keep your eyes peeled and book early.

9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
